The votes are in and Buzzfeed announced the 50 Hottest News Anchors in the World last Friday. Let me tell you, there were some hot contenders.
However, one pearly white smile and pair of dimples stood out above the rest. Matt Barnes, of central Ohio local news station WCMH NBC4, not only made the cut, he made the Top 10.
Coming in at number 9 on the list, Barnes has been handling his new claim to international fame very well. He turned to his Twitter account to remark on his new title.

Monica Day, who anchors NBC4 Today alongside Barnes, took a page out of her own experience with pageantry to make sure her friend received the proper recognition. The Miss Ohio USA 2008 awarded her co-anchor Barnes a tiara, sash, and trophy for his accomplishment.
