The Best Brunch Spots In Columbus

It’s time for the best meal of the day everybody: Brunch.

Columbus has a crazy delicious brunch scene, and let’s be real, it’s usually the answer to every question.

Friends in from out of town? Impress them with brunch.
Celebrating your mom? It’s mimosas at brunch time!
Just want to treat yourself? Brunch is the answer, people!

From fancy-attire-required to yoga-pants-acceptable, there’s no shortage of places to grab your squad and head out for a mid-morning adventure. Here are the best places to have a fantastic brunch in Columbus.

Skillet

Skillet is the place to go if you’re craving that farm-fresh brunch. The ingredients get delivered to the restaurant daily, which also means that their menu is always changing depending on what local produce is available. Try something new!

German Village Coffee Shop

Omelet, bacon, toast, and cheesy hash browns at German Village Coffee Shop

German Village Coffee Shop is my go-to breakfast spot. It’s not fancy. It’s a diner and you’ll be enjoying coffee instead of mimosas, but the food is delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take suggestions from the awesome staff or take on the daily special. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with bacon and eggs!

If the weather is nice, the patio at Katalina’s provides the perfect setting for brunch. Their breakfast tacos are award-winning, but we all know we’re going for the pancake balls. Be sure to get there early because finding a seat can be a bit of a battle. But that just goes to show you how yummy the food is.

First Watch

First Watch is one of the first places to come to mind when I think “brunch with mom.” But honestly, anyone can enjoy it. It’s a go-to breakfast food kind of place and with multiple locations around the city, so odds are there is one reasonably close to you, which is especially awesome if you’re the one in the friend group who’s always late to brunch.

The Woodbury

The Woodbury has been one of my favorite additions to this city for a long time. It’s got a great, downtown diner vibe, plus the service is always fantastic. They’ve got tons of twists on classic diner items. I could talk about The Woodbury all day long, or you could read my review instead.
