The Best Brunch Spots In Columbus

It’s time for the best meal of the day everybody: Brunch.

Columbus has a crazy delicious brunch scene, and let’s be real, it’s usually the answer to every question.

Friends in from out of town? Impress them with brunch.
Celebrating your mom? It’s mimosas at brunch time!
Just want to treat yourself? Brunch is the answer, people!

From fancy-attire-required to yoga-pants-acceptable, there’s no shortage of places to grab your squad and head out for a mid-morning adventure. Here are the best places to have a fantastic brunch in Columbus.

German Village Coffee Shop

German Village Coffee Shop is my go-to breakfast spot. It’s not fancy. It’s a diner and it’s usually a little crowded, but that’s for good reason. The food is delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take suggestions from the awesome staff (shout out to Debbie, Shannon, and Craig) or take on the daily special. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with bacon and eggs!
Address: 193 Thurman Avenue Columbus, OH 43206

Skillet

via Facebook

Skillet is the place to go if you’re craving that farm-fresh brunch. The ingredients get delivered to the restaurant daily, which also means that their menu is always changing depending on what local produce is available. Try something new!
Address: 410 E Whittier St, Columbus, OH 43206 US

Hangover Easy

via Facebook

Did you party a little to hard last night? Don’t worry, Hangover Easy has the cure. For some greasy breakfast foods that will be perfect for when you drank “beer before liquor”, this diner is a must visit.

Address: 1646 Neil St, Columbus, OH 43201

Tasi Cafe

Tasi Cafe is a gem in the Short North. They’ve got a wide variety of dishes on their menu. Even the pickiest of eaters should be able to leave happy. Pro tip: get the breakfast burrito.
Address: 680 N Pearl St, Columbus, OH, 43215

Katalina’s

via Facebook

If the weather is nice, the patio at Katalina’s provides the perfect setting for brunch. Their breakfast tacos are award-winning, but we all know we’re going for the pancake balls. Be sure to get there early because finding a seat can be a bit of a battle. But that just goes to show you how yummy the food is.
Address: 1105 Pennsylvania Ave, Columbus, OH 43201

Local Cantina

via Facebook

My favorites are the Chorizo Scramble and the Bourbon Bacon Pancakes. One is sweet and one is savory. Have your mom get on dish and you order the other. Split the two and you’ll get the best of both worlds.
Address: Multiple locations.

Jack & Benny’s

via Facebook

Jack & Benny’s is a classic diner. They dapple in all the classics. I think Jack & Benny’s is the perfect place to go if you and your pals are searching for a big ol’ stack of pancakes, a coffee, and a chill atmosphere.
Address: Multiple locations.

Happy Little Treats

via Facebook

This vegan bakery and coffee shop, formerly known as The Angry Baker, is a must-visit for a low-key kind of brunch gathering. The food is delicious and all of your squad, vegan and non-vegan alike, will be thrilled. Pair your treat with a cup of Brioso coffee and you’re all set.

Address: 1962 N Mallway Dr, Upper Arlington, OH 43221

First Watch

via Facebook

First Watch is one of the first places to come to mind when I think “brunch with mom.” But honestly, anyone can enjoy it. It’s a go-to breakfast food kind of place and with multiple locations around the city, so odds are there is one reasonably close to you, which is especially awesome if you’re the one in the friend group who’s always late to brunch.

Address: Multiple locations.

Northstar Cafe

via Facebook

Northstar is the place you go when you’re looking to be a little trendy, but you still want to know exactly what you’re getting. The Cloud Nine Pancakes are absolutely divine and paired with a Mimosa, you’ll be in heaven.
Address: Multiple locations.

Fox in the Snow Cafe

via Facebook

Specializing in coffee drinks, pastries, and egg sandwiches, Fox in the Snow is a charming little cafe with locations in both Italian and German Village. Chic and trendy, the cafe is an adorable place to sit down and grab a quick bite to eat. Don’t forget to get a good gram of that hopping fox. If you don’t, how will the other moms even know you’re a cool mom?

Address: 1031 N Fourth St, Columbus, OH 43201 and 210 Thurman Ave, Columbus, OH 43206

Lindey’s

via Facebook

Feelin’ fancy? Take your friends to Lindey’s for a meal and service that will leave a lasting impression. It’s a high-class, high-quality dining experience, and although it may be a little pricey, you should Treat Yo’ Self. You’re worth it.

Address: 169 E Beck St, Columbus, OH 43206

Brekkie Shack

via Facebook

Want to fully embrace beach vibes without actually leaving Columbus? Brunch at Brekkie Shack oughta do the trick. The breakfast menu is available all day long, which is great because they have the best french toast I’ve ever had.

Address: 1060 Yard St, Columbus, OH 43212

The Woodbury

Thit Kho Thom Hash

The Woodbury has been one of my favorite additions to this city in a long time. It’s got a great, downtown diner vibe, plus the service is always fantastic. They’ve got tons of twists on classic diner items. I could talk about The Woodbury all day long, or you could read my review instead.

Address: 215 E Town St, Columbus, OH 43215

The Pearl

The food at The Pearl is wonderful. Truly, I’ve never had a bad meal there. But honestly, I go to brunch there for the Bloody Mary’s. They’re the best drink to spill some morning tea over, and that’s just a fact.

Address: 641 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215

Cap City Fine Diner

Cap City is a nice place to eat without being overly fancy. The food is incredible and the brunch is no exception. Make sure to call ahead and get reservations because it can get pretty packed for Sunday brunch.

Address: Multiple locations.

Okay, so, who’s ready to go to brunch?
