Bristol Republic is getting a new home, and this time around, the Nashville-inspired bar and restaurant is heading to Bridge Park in Dublin.
Starting September 10, Bristol Republic will open at 4495 Bridge Park Ave., bringing Southern-inspired food, live music, sports, weekend brunch and a new late-night lounge together under one roof.
The new location is being billed as a reimagined version of Bristol, with the goal of giving guests plenty of reasons to stick around from afternoon through late night.
“There’s a reason people travel to Nashville to experience the live music, food, and vibrant atmosphere,” said Brian Swanson, founder of Experience Hospitality Group. “We wanted to build a place where people can spend an entire day and night enjoying themselves. That’s what Nashville does so well, and that’s what we’ve created with Bristol at Bridge Park.”
At the center of the new Bristol Republic is a state-of-the-art open kitchen, where Chef Greg Roy will prepare scratch-made Southern dishes.
The menu will include smoked brisket, Texas-style ribs and steaks cooked with the help of Southern Pride smokers, along with stone-fired pizzas and seasonal salads. Basically, there should be plenty of options whether you’re showing up hungry or just looking for something to eat between drinks.
Bristol will also serve weekend brunch, with live acoustic performances from local singer-songwriters.
And because this is Bristol Republic we’re talking about, the entertainment isn’t stopping at brunch.
The Bristol stage will feature a mix of local and national musical acts on Friday and Saturday nights. Thursdays will bring live band karaoke, which seems like a pretty effective way to kick off the weekend a little early.
On game days, the restaurant will shift into full sports-bar mode with 20 massive big-screen TVs throughout the space.
“Bristol was my go-to spot after work every week,” said Ben Bressman, a regular at the original Bristol. “The bartenders, bands, beer, and bourbon all came together for a fun time. I’m excited to have Bristol back, now at Bridge Park.”
One of the biggest additions to the new Bristol is The Saddle Club, a lounge tucked away inside the restaurant.
The space is designed to feel a little more removed from the main dining room, with live jazz, weekend DJs and a premium selection of whiskey and cocktails.
It’s essentially Bristol’s late-night hideaway, giving the restaurant a second atmosphere once you’re ready to move on from the main dining room.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bristol Republic to downtown Dublin and the Bridge Park community,” said Bob Hoying, principal at Crawford Hoying. “Bristol’s day-to-night entertainment experience and live music are exciting firsts for Bridge Park.”
The new Bristol Republic will open at 4495 Bridge Park Ave. in Dublin on September 10. More information and updates are available through Bristol Republic’s social media accounts and website.
