It’s All In The Details: A Home Away from Home

The Meadow View boasts an impressive layout, offering three luxurious bedroom suites. Each suite comes with a full bathroom and provides direct access to the centrally located, well-appointed breezeway. The property’s thoughtful design ensures that each guest enjoys privacy and comfort.

The second floor of the main cabin is a haven for kids, featuring four cozy bunk beds accessible via a charming spiral staircase. And for the young at heart, there’s a nostalgic treat – a PAC-Man arcade game, perfect for some lighthearted competition.

A highlight of the cabin is the kitchen equipped with everything you need for a delightful night in. While there’s no traditional indoor dining room table, the high-top with comfortable chairs and a picturesque eating nook more than make up for it.

A Cozy Cabin Experience: Fireplaces and More

No cabin in the Hocking Hills would be complete without a roaring fire, and The Meadow View doesn’t disappoint. The main living space features a gentle gas-burning fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A large cozy sofa and armchairs were appointed with an abundance of soft blankets, perfect for snuggling up after a long day exploring the many trails of nearby Hocking Hills State Park. The floors throughout both sides of the cabin are heated, which was such a luxurious touch.

The breezeway houses another gas fireplace, along with a fire pit situated just off the front of the house – perfect for sharing stories under the stars.

Privacy and Comfort: Perfect for Groups

Across the breezeway, two more bedroom suites await, each with a king-sized bed and a full bathroom. The suite at the front stands out with its own private deck, overlooking the picturesque meadow.

Imagine sipping your morning coffee in a rocking chair, enjoying the serene view – bliss! The suite’s coffee station makes this a delightful reality. That means I didn’t have to cross the causeway to start my morning off right.

The thoughtful separation between the main house and these suites is ideal for group getaways, providing a rare sense of privacy and intimacy that’s hard to find in other cabins in the region.

The Hot Tub Hut: An Unforgettable Experience

A standout feature of The Meadow View is the Hot Tub Hut. Perched in its own secluded area above the house, the hot tub offers privacy and serenity.

During my stay, the sight of deer frolicking on the hillside while soaking in the hot tub was a magical experience, adding to the charm of this hidden gem.

It was cloudy when I visited, but I bet that on a clear night, the view from the Hot Tub Hut is unreal.

A Word to the Wise: Navigating the Driveway

The driveway leading up to the property is somewhat steep, so I recommend allowing extra time for your journey, especially during the snowier months.

The view from the cabin

It’s a small consideration for the tranquility that awaits at the top. If you roll your windows down while you’re driving up, you might even hear the babbling brook that flows through the ravine near the house.

Final Thoughts: A Must-Visit Retreat

The Meadow View at Wildcat Hollow is more than just a cabin; it’s a retreat that promises relaxation, privacy, and unforgettable memories.
