If your ideal Hocking Hills weekend includes forest views, quiet mornings, and a real bed instead of a sleeping bag, Streams and Dreams at Laurel Run is ready for bookings. The retreat sits on 23 wooded acres along Laurel Run and offers custom Airstream rentals with private decks, fire pits, and cedar barrel saunas.
“We’ve developed something that’s so unique,” said Jeremy Float, one of the owners. “We were looking at several properties down here and we came across this property and we really liked it because we could develop the front of it and make it really easy to access for everybody. But we wanted it to be close. We wanted it to be easy to get to. We wanted it to be year-round where snow was never going to be an issue.”
Why Airstreams?

The choice of Airstreams is personal. “I had done camping for a long period of time,” Float said. “I actually went on a cross-country journey with my dog and myself, with an old camper. After Megan and I got married, I had always wanted an Airstream. I bought a big one for the family—it sleeps six, has a bunkhouse in the back. I really liked the idea of the Airstream. And the other thing is, Airstreams are made in Ohio, too. It just kind of fit.”

The property includes a 0.9-mile loop called the Dreamer’s Loop. It winds along Laurel Run with shaded woods, rock formations, and wildlife.
For the holidays, a very special trail takeover his happening. “We’re setting up an Elf-themed trail. A candy cane forest leading to the ooey gooey gumdrops, onto the Lincoln tunnel,” explained Float. The whole trail will be decorated and people can enjoy it no matter the weather.
