Just in time for a little summer adventure, Hocking Hills has launched a shuttle to make your travels even easier.
Beginning May 26, the shuttle will be available for visitors on Saturdays and Sundays. The shuttle starts at 10 a.m. both days at 44 E. Main St. in downtown Logan and runs every 30 minutes to drop visitors off at the Old Man’s Cave campground office. The shuttle will continue each weekend through October 28. The final shuttle returns at 6:30 p.m.
If you want to hop on the shuttle, you can park your car for free at the Hocking County Courthouse. In addition to the shuttle, there will also be two additional buses looping around four hiking posts: Old Man’s Cave, Whispering Cave, Cedar Falls, and Ash Cave.
“Adding a shuttle from downtown Logan to the trails makes experiencing the area’s natural beauty even easier,” said Karen Raymore, executive director at the Hocking Hills Tourism Association, in a press release. “We’re also saving our guests from having to worry about finding a place to park.”
The shuttle costs $10 per person and you’ll receive a wristband for unlimited rides that day. and includes a wristband for unlimited rides that day. This is a great way to get the whole family to Hocking Hills without having to worry about finding parking. And when I say “the whole family,” that also includes your four-legged furry friends! Dogs are allowed to ride on the shuttle as well, but they must be on a leash.
