Urban Meyer’s Pint House Is Officially Open

Urban Meyer’s Pint House is officially open.

Cancel your plans for the next Ohio State Football game, because you’re going to want to watch it in the comfort of Urban Meyer’s Pint House. Surrounded by reminders of his 7-0 record against That Team Up North and of his time at The Ohio State University in general, this place gives a whole new meaning to “sports bar”.

The restaurant is enormous, with a large bar area, ample dining space, and even a private dining room. The restaurant is located at 6632 Longshore St, in the heart of Dublin’s Bridge Park development, and it feels right at home there. This latest rendition of Pint House is a love song to Coach Meyer, with photographs and memorabilia of this time at Ohio State (and even a few, unfortunately, of his time at Florida) dotted throughout the space.

But there’s nothing cheesy about the place. It’s classy and elegant, so much so that somehow, you barely notice the massive televisions throughout the restaurant. I know you’re itching to see more, so let’s take a closer look.

There probably won’t always be balloons outside, but I have to admit, it got me pretty hyped. I’m excitable, what can I say?

When you first enter the restaurant, there’s an option to grab a seat at the bar, or cozy up in a booth or at a table.

First item on the agenda should definitely be ordering a 7-0 Ale, the Kolsh-style beer created by Land Grant.

There’s no bad seat in the house, and all of them come with a view of the game.

See what I mean?

It’s a large space, but the restaurant still feels cozy.

The most beautiful part of Urban Meyer’s Pint House is the private dining room, called the 7-0 Room.

It’s elegant and full of light and generally just a very tasteful space.

And, of course, don’t forget to grab some swag on your way out!
