Everything You Need To Know About What? Music And Arts Festival

What? Music and Arts Festival is back for another year.

The festival, which is going down on July 27 in Franklinton, is curated to inspire festival-goers by providing an inclusive and supportive space for self-expression. There will be a pre-show event on Friday, July 26, the actual festival on July 27, followed by a community day on Sunday!

“We are working to create an even more inspirational and immersive experience than last year’s show, featuring numerous elements of artistic surprise,” Kyle Dineen, event co-founder, said.

From electronic music to jam bands to fun, musical performers will cover tons of genres and be showcased on two stages. Speaking of the stages, the main stage is a straight-up work of art. Built by Dineen, it towers at 25 feet and features choreographed projections and lighting, creating a truly immersive experience.

The festival will feature over 150 artists through live paintings, art galleries, performing arts, and interactive experience.

A share of ticket proceeds from What? Music And Arts Festival will go to The BrightsideFoundation, a local Columbus nonprofit focused on mental health awareness. The festival team
is also working with community partners at the Franklinton Prep Academy, the GladdenCommunity House, and the Franklinton Board of Trade.

“We wanted to create an event that tied together the ideas of art and music and fun to inspire the community to collaborate and create all while giving back and making the world a brighter,
better place,” event co-founder Ryan McKee added.
