Vera On Broad Is A New 8-Story Tower Coming To The Discovery District

The plan for an 8-story tower downtown has gotten a big update.

Vera on Broad will be a tower at 366 E. Broad Street. The project was originally pitched as an 11-story tower, but new version has just been approved by the Downtown Commission. Right now, a parking lot takes up the space where Vera on Broad will be built.

The tower will include three floors of parking and five floors of residential space. Mostly one-bedroom units, there will be 114 apartments in total, 1,900 square feet of retail space, nearly 6,000 square feet of office space, and even a rooftop deck.

The rooftop space will feature a green space where residents can relax and enjoy the views of the Columbus College Art & Design campus. The cost of the apartment units at Vera on Broad is expected to be 60-120% of the median income of the area.

The project is spearheaded by Architectural Alliance, but they aren’t doing it alone. The plan also includes SIM Studio LLC, Daimler Group Inc., American Structurepoint, SMBH Inc., and McMullen Engineering Company Inc.
