Just a boy and a girl in a little canoe with the moon shining all around…
That may be how the song goes, but you can take whoever you want in your moonlit canoe ride this weekend at Scioto Grove Metro Park.
All gear and equipment are provided by Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks and the canoe float is completely free for participants 8 years and older. The canoe float does require registration and although it’s currently full, you can always sign up on the waiting list, in case other participants cancel.
The aquatic adventure will run from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (weather permitting) on July 27. You’ll head into the water at the Scioto Grove Northern Canoe Access and transportation will be provided at the end of the float.
Scioto Grove Metro Park is located at 5172 Jackson Pike, Grove City, Ohio 43123, just a short drive south from Downtown Columbus. For more info about the Full Moon Canoe Float, please click here.
