Calling all winter sports lovers: Mad River Mountain is officially open for the season.
With school out for a couple of weeks, parents and students alike are looking for ways to pass the time before heading back. What better way than to spend it outside? Whether you’re ready to make your way down the hill or just enjoy a hot cocoa in the lodge, Mad River Mountain is the perfect way to spend a chilly day.
Who’s ready?
The ski resort has covered their courses with fresh, powdery goodness and winter sports season is kicking off.
Get into the spirit of the Winter Olympics by heading north and strapping on some skis, and hitting the slopes.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, visitors to Mad River Mountain can also Tube, and it’s exactly as fun as it sounds.
The park will be open daily. Want to sit in the lodge and for some good drinks and people watching? No problem. Spectators are welcome.
Each weekend, boarders and skiers are invited to participate in Midnight Madness, taking on the courses from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
