Glow Tubing Is A Super Awesome Thing You Should Totally Do At Snow Trails This Winter

Is there anything more fun than flying down a hillside on an inflatable tube in the middle of the winter?

The answer to that question is, shockingly, yes. You can fly down a hillside on an inflatable tube in the middle of the winter, in the dark with neon lights flashing all around you.

Sounds pretty sweet, right?

This year, Snow Trails, aka the best place to spend a winter weekend in Mansfield, is offering Glow Tubing. The special event will run throughout January and February. Although most people associate skiing or snowboarding with a day of fun at Snow Trails, I’m happy to report that glow tubing is its own special kind of winter fun.

While it certainly doesn’t require as much skill as skiing or snowboarding, it is incredibly fun. It’s the perfect group activity, especially if everyone in your group isn’t super comfortable cutting through fresh powder.

At Snow Trails, they have a dedicated Snow Tubing facility. Amenities for those going tubing include access to the designated lodge, snack bar, fire pit, bathrooms, and picnic tables. You’ll also be able to visit the Min Lodge, which has two bars and two restaurants.

There are no requirements or recommendations for height, weight, or age, and getting up to the top of the hill is easy as you’ll ride up on a conveyor belt.

So get your crew together, head to Vertical Descent Tubing Park at Snow Trails, and get ready to have some glow-in-the-dark fun.

Glow Tubing is available every evening, from Thursday through Sunday. Tickets to Glow Tubing are sold in 2-hr increments and they cost $32. Snow Trails isn’t open quite yet, but they should open in the next couple of weeks, depending on the weather. You can check here for updates.

All tickets for winter activities at Snow Trails, including tubing, must be purchased in advance. Snow Trails is located at 3100 Possum Run Rd, Mansfield, OH 44903. For more info about Glow Tubing, please click here.
