Easton Is Hosting A Summer Drive-In Series Almost Every Night Until July 2

Easton Town Center is kicking off a new event that will be safe, fun for the whole family.

The Easton Sunset Series Drive-In will kick off this weekend, with screenings on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings. Due to the popularity of the event, all screenings are sold out except Monday, May 25. That showing of Ferdinand will kick off at 9 p.m. and tickets are available here.

If you don’t snag tickets, don’t dismay! This is a regular series, so this weekend is only the beginning. Movies will be scheduled Tuesday through Saturday nights through July 2. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, there will be one dusk showing at 9 .m. Fridays and Saturdays will have two showings, a dusk movie around 9 p.m. and a second showing around midnight.

“We cannot wait to host this new series aimed at bringing people together while also keeping everyone appropriately apart. Our movie series has for years been a popular summer activity for families, friends and date nights,” said Jennifer Peterson, Chief Executive, Easton.

The drive-in is located in Easton’s newest district, just north of Forbidden Root, Forty Deuce, and RH Columbus, The Gallery at Easton Town Center. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served and the movies will be shown rain or shine.

Opening weekend tickets are $10 per car and proceeds support the Easton Community Foundation. If you’d like to order dinner, do it from Forbidden Root or Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce. They will deliver your food right to your car! The movie schedules for each week will be announced by Easton on Fridays.

“This new drive-in twist offers a retro entertainment experience with the added bonus of so many Easton restaurant carryout choices that can be enjoyed during the flicks,” said Peterson. “And proceeds from the $10 a carload entry goes to the Easton Community Foundation to support local nonprofits, making it an evening of great fun with a purpose.”

Have fun out there, Columbus. You deserve it.
