Cooper Stadium Looks An Apocalyptic Wasteland And It’s Hitting Hard In The Feels

Have you ever wondered what part of Columbus would look like 10 years after humans?

Thanks to one brave Youtuber, you can see for yourself. Cooper Stadium was the home of the Columbus Clippers from 1977 to 2008. Since then, the stadium has sat empty.

Of course, there have been rumblings through the years. A race track. A multi-purpose OSHAA stadium. But nothing has come to fruition, yet.

We had a few ideas here at Columbus Navigator, but we admit they’re a little far fetched.

You probably remember the stadium and field looking something a little like this.

The view is a little more daunting these days.

Youtuber Living in Las Vegas was in town at the beginning of October and decided to do some exploring around the abandoned stadium.

The field has definitely returned to nature.

And what remains of the stadium structure is falling apart.
