Andrea Cambern Is Coming Home

It’s been five years since she left our city, but Andrea Cambern is coming back to Ohio. The Columbus news icon is returning on Saturday, May 20 for the 25th Annual Komen Columbus Race for the Cure. Pink wig in hand, Cambern announced the news on April 12.

Campern was a news anchor on WBNS 10-TV from 1991 until she moved to California in 2012. During her time behind the news desk, the reporter received multiple awards including six Emmys, the National Association of Television Journalists named her Female Anchor of the Year, and she has been awarded many honors by the Associated Press.

Cambern was inducted in the Ohio Radio and Television Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2007.
