There’s a new way to play mini golf in Columbus and it involves way more than just a scorecard and pencil.
Puttshack is opening its first Ohio location on Wednesday, May 27, bringing its interactive, tech-driven mini golf concept to the Polaris area. The new venue will be located at 8870 Galaxy Way and marks the brand’s 20th location in the United States.
Inside the 12,500-square-foot space, guests will find two nine-hole courses packed with interactive gameplay. The experience is powered by Puttshack’s Trackaball technology, which automatically tracks scores as you play, so there’s no need to keep track manually.
In addition to the main courses, the Columbus location will feature private “Challenge Holes,” designed for small groups looking for a more competitive, fast-paced experience with dedicated service.

The space is designed to be social, making it a go-to for everything from casual nights out to group events and celebrations.
Alongside the games, Puttshack is rolling out a full food and drink menu with a mix of shareable plates and comfort food favorites.
Highlights include wings, a cheeseburger with a crispy cheese layer, loaded nachos and handheld options like flatbreads. The menu also includes vegetarian-friendly dishes and a rotating selection of drinks, from cocktails to craft beer and non-alcoholic options.

There’s also a built-in giveback.
For every order of churro dippers, the Columbus location will donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Puttshack Columbus will open at 4 p.m. on May 27, with regular hours running late into the evening throughout the week.
Guests can make reservations ahead of time, though walk-ins will be accepted based on availability. Those who sign up for the brand’s rewards program before opening day can score a free game of mini golf.
