Wolf’s Ridge Brewing will open its new lounge and bar, Understory, next week.
The new space was announced last year and will officially open its doors on Friday, January 21. Understory is a lounge and bar, operated by Wolf’s Ridge Brewing, that will feature unique cocktails, a progressive food menu, and an additional private event space.
The space at Open Air will provide Understory with unique nature vibes and direct access to the Olentangy Trail. Open Air was originally constructed as a two-story school building in 1927.
The school was built for students who were susceptible to tuberculosis and who would benefit from the fresh air. The surrounding area is gorgeous and I have a feeling that it’s quickly going to become a summer favorite.
When Understory opens on January 21, the hours will initially be 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday and 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday-Saturday. Eventually, the plan is to extend the hours to include Wednesdays (4 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and Sundays (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
