Longtime neighborhood favorite, The Bottle Shop, known for its cozy atmosphere, thoughtful drinks, and welcoming patio, has officially entered a new chapter. As of this week, The Bottle Shop is now Cordial Cocktail Club & Bottle Shop.
Fortunately for regulars, the changes stop there.
In announcing the rebrand, the business emphasized that the new name is simply a reflection of what the space has already become over the years.
“Welcome to our new era: Cordial Cocktail Club & Bottle Shop,” the business shared on social media. “As we’ve grown into ourselves, it made sense to embrace a name that can allow us to continue to grow with the community.”
Located at 237 King Ave., the concept first opened as a neighborhood bottle shop and carryout, but over time evolved into one of the city’s go-to cocktail destinations. While guests can still browse curated bottles of wine and spirits, many visitors now know the space for its inventive cocktail menus, intimate atmosphere, and community-focused events.
The team says the rebrand acknowledges that evolution while preserving everything guests already love.
“The only thing changing is our name,” the announcement continued. “We have the same cordial staff, and the same cordial hospitality. The same stellar cocktails and thoughtfully curated wine list. Our name is simply catching up.”
It’s a sentiment that longtime customers will likely appreciate. In an industry where “new chapter” often means sweeping changes, Cordial is taking a different approach. The bartenders are staying. The wine program remains. Popular traditions and seasonal events aren’t going anywhere.
“We are a place to linger, a place to find and grow community, to laugh, to cry, to spend time, to sit a while,” the post reads.
The rebrand also coincides with the launch of a new seasonal cocktail menu, giving guests another reason to stop in and see what’s new. For more info, head over to cordialcbus.com.
