Wonderball Will Return To The Columbus Museum Of Art This May

Wonderball is back.

The Columbus Museum of Art announced that Wonderball will return live and in-person on Friday, May 13, from 8 p.m. to midnight. The one-of-a-kind event is an evening of wonder, celebrating creativity and black and white fashion.

Wonderball usually takes place on the last Saturday of January, but this year’s event was postponed. Experiences planned for 2022 are inspired by the theme of ‘future’ and range from dance, comedy and fashion to local music standouts. Highlights include Honey & Blue, DJ Satele, Perennial Movement Group, an NFT experience, Anna and the Annadroids, visuals by Pacemour Creative, live artist collaborations, and futuristic fashion by Tracy Powell.

Wonderball is attempting to achieve zero waste status, which means they’ll be diverting waste from the event through reuse, recycling, and composting.

The 2022 Event Chairs are Hakim Callwood, Urvi Patel, Krystopher Scott and Lexi Sweet. Tickets for Wonderball go on sale to the public on March 25 for $125. You can order your tickets by visiting columbusmuseum.org/wonderball.

Wonderball is made possible by presenting sponsor Bank of America and through the support of creativity sponsors Cardinal Health, Equitas Health and Friedman & Mirman; curiosity sponsors Paul Feeney & Chad Braun, Denise Mirman, PNC, Kara Siak and Drs.
