Endeavor Brewing & Spirits is closing its Grandview taproom at 909 W. 5th Ave., with Thursday, Oct. 29, marking its final day. The brewery’s Linworth location, Barrel & Bloom at 2365 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., will remain open, so you can still stop in for an Endeavor beer or a pour of its spirits.
The brewery shared the news on its website, noting that the Grandview taproom has been open for nearly 10 years. The announcement also invites customers to stop by for one last pint and show the bartenders some love before the doors close.
Endeavor hasn’t shared a reason for the closure or said where its beer and spirits will be produced moving forward.
What happens after October 29?
The space won’t close for good just yet. Endeavor plans to keep it available for private events through the holidays, and a final farewell gathering is in the works to thank the regulars and partners who have supported the brewery over the years. Details haven’t been announced yet.
The Grandview taproom is typically closed on Mondays, so there are only a few days left to stop in for a final visit. The spot has been known for its rotating draft beers, seasonal cocktails and snacks from local partners.
Barrel & Bloom stays open
Endeavor’s Linworth location, Barrel & Bloom, will continue operating as usual. In addition to Endeavor beer and spirits, the spot serves coffee throughout the day. It stays open into the evening on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Columbus’ first brewstillery
Endeavor describes itself as Columbus’ first brewstillery, combining a brewery with an on-site distillery where it makes and ages its own spirits. Beer came first, with styles inspired by the founders’ travels, including time spent in Germany and England.
The brewery expanded into spirits in 2020 with the release of rum, botanical gin, dry gin and vodka. Its first aged spirits followed in 2022, including cask rum, cask gin, malt whisky and bourbon.
