The Best Places To Watch The World Cup In Columbus

The 2022 World Cup is finally here.

Although it comes with its fair share of deserved criticism and controversy, the World Cup is generally a time that brings families and nations together to celebrate the biggest sport in the world.

For better or worse, the World Cup is fully underway now. We may be halfway around the world, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t watch the USA team take on their opponents. In fact, there are plenty of places around the city where you can watch all of the matches.

We’ve got a lot to cover here, so let’s dive right in. First up: the schedule.

Group A schedule (all kick-off times EST)

Monday, November 21: Senegal vs Netherlands – 5 a.m.
Friday, November 25: Qatar vs Senegal – 8 a.m.
Friday, November 25: Netherlands vs Ecuador – 11 a.m.
Tuesday, November 29: Netherlands vs Qatar – 10 a.m.

The Round of 16 goes from December 3-6 followed by the Quarter Finals From December 9-10, with matches at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. The Semi-Finals will be played December 13-14 at 2 p.m. followed by the Third Place Play-off on December 17 at 10 a.m.

Whichever two teams are left will then play in the World Cup final on December 18 at 10 a.m. (Let’s Go USA!)

Details: Go watch the USA vs. Wales match on the big screen at Grandview Theater & Drafthouse. There will be food and drinks available to purchase, but the screening itself is free to attend.

Details World of Beer is hosting a watch party for USA vs. England on Friday, November 25. They’ll have $5 Carlsburg drafts and $3 green tea shots available.

Pride & Glory at Field

Details: For 22 days of non-stop soccer, The Pub at Field will be airing all of the World Cup matches. Additionally, the Pride & Glory event will highlight the USA vs. England Game on Friday, November 25, and the World Cup Final on December 18.
