Krema Nut Company, located at 1000 Goodale Blvd, is so much more than just a place to get good peanuts. Although they’re pretty great at that. In addition to selling all kinds of nuts and trail mixes, Krema Nut Company also stocks some incredible treats, from chocolate-covered nuts to gift boxes.
In Columbus since 1898, The Krema Products Company, initially named The American Refining Company, underwent a transformation in 1908, becoming Krema. This marked their venture into crafting peanut butter and nut products, a legacy that doesn’t just survive, it thrives.
Krema’s peanut butter was revolutionary, embracing all-natural goodness with just one ingredient: peanuts. Free from additives like salt, sugar, or preservatives, it resonated with mindful consumers, setting a new standard.
By 1927, Krema had found its home at 1000 Goodale Boulevard, where it still stands strong after nearly a century. This iconic location continues to serve up scrumptious treats to the delight of Columbus residents, luckily for us.
From the outside, Krema Nut Company looks pretty unassuming. But don’t let that humble facade fool you. Life-changing treats await!

A heads up before you go: Krema retired its longtime sandwich counter in January 2025, so the PB&J sandwiches and milkshakes are off the menu now.
The shop is still very much open, stocked with freshly roasted nuts, chocolates, candies, and every variety of their famous peanut butter, ready to take home or ship anywhere in the country. There’s no bad choice at Krema Nut Company, and they’ve got a century of happy customers to prove it.
