A giant indoor slide park is getting ready to bring some serious thrills to Polaris—and no water is required.
Slick City Action Park, a national chain known for its high-speed, waterless slides, is opening its very first Ohio location at 1170 Polaris Parkway, in the former Bed, Bath & Beyond space. The 35,000-square-foot park is aiming for a May opening, and honestly, it sounds like the perfect way to burn off energy—whether you’re a kid, teen, or grown-up who’s still a kid at heart.
So what makes these slides special? The company uses proprietary slide tech to replicate the rush of a water slide, minus the splash zone. That means you can hit insane speeds while staying totally dry (and keeping your socks on—literally, they’re required and cost $4.99 a pair).

The Columbus location will feature:
- A variety of “Slick Slides” designed to thrill
- A Junior Jungle play area for the littles
- Special events like Adults Only Nights, After Hours Glow Parties, Homeschool Socials, and Family Days
General admission starts at $25.99 for 90 minutes, or $30.99 for two hours (kids under 3 can slide for $13.99). And yes, you’ll need the special CitySocks to ride.

Whether you’re chasing a weekend adrenaline rush or just trying to tire out your kids, Slick City is shaping up to be a seriously fun new addition to Columbus. The park is expected to open in Mid-May and you can grab tickets and updates at slickcity.com/oh-northcolumbus.
