I have to be honest… it was a lot easier keeping myself entertained during a pandemic when the weather was nice.
Ohio has a lot of great parks to explore and I spent a lot of the summer and fall outside doing just that. But since it’s gotten colder, I’ll be the first to admit that outdoor fun doesn’t sound so fun anymore.
But, thankfully, Columbus businesses have been getting pretty creative these days. Easton already popped up their cozy EGLOOS, dome-shaped tents perfect for private dining. And now they’re introducing the perfect post-dinner activity: ice skating.
Opening February 20, the ice skating rink will be located at Easton’s Town Square. The rink will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. until March 20. I love ice skating so they already had me sold, but just to sweeten the deal, I should mention that the whole experience is free.
There’s no admission cost and no cost to rent skates. Complimentary rentals will be on site. All you have to do is show up and be ready to have some fun.
To keep all guests safe, skating spots are limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Skates will be sanitized between each use and hand sanitizer stations will be available around the rink.
Guests are asked to keep a safe distance of six-feet or more while skating and masks are required at all times. The rink is open to all ages, but guests 15 and under will require a guardian present.
