A New Mediterranean Fine Dining Gem From CMR Is Headed To Easton

Spring 2024 marks the grand arrival of Del Mar at Easton, the latest venture by the renowned Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR). Following the success of its Naples counterpart, Del Mar is set to bring an unparalleled Mediterranean dining experience to Easton Town Center, located at 4089 The Strand East, Columbus, OH 43219.

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because CMR recently changed the name of Del Mar SoCal Kitchen in the Short North to SoCal Kitchen, dropping the Del Mar branding in anticipation of this new spot opening at Easton.

“This name shift between the two culinary concepts just makes sense as both have established their own unique feel and guest fan base,” said David Miller, President and COO of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR). “Del Mar in Naples has proven to be an extraordinary and successful restaurant for CMR. When the opportunity arose at Easton, we knew it was the right time and the right location to bring this premier Mediterranean fine-dining experience to central Ohio.”

A Mediterranean Oasis at Easton Town Center

Imagine stepping into an ambiance where the essence of the Mediterranean coast is brought to life. Del Mar’s exterior, facing the picturesque Central Park Fountain at Easton, invites you into a world where culinary excellence meets the vibrant, laid-back lifestyle of Southern Europe.

Savor the Rich Flavors of the Mediterranean

At Del Mar, the menu is a celebration of the diverse and rich flavors characteristic of Mediterranean coastal cuisine. From the freshest seafood to house-made cheeses and a selection of entrees prepared on a wood-fired grill, every dish is a testament to the region’s culinary prowess.

Popular dishes like the Lamb Tagine, prepared in the hearth for sharing family style, showcase the restaurant’s commitment to bringing people together over great food. And let’s not forget about the handcrafted cocktails and robust wine list, featuring world-class wines from around the globe, perfect for cleansing the palate and enhancing the dining experience.

Designed for Comfort and Elegance

Designed by CMR Director of Design Randy Roberty, in collaboration with Design Collective (Columbus) and Studio K (Chicago), Del Mar at Easton promises an atmosphere that captures the coastal Mediterranean’s vivid culture.

The 9,400-square-foot space boasts sandy earth tones, mango wood, and terracotta accents, creating a warm and inviting setting for up to 300 guests. With features like two bars, a four-seasons patio, and private dining rooms, Del Mar is perfect for any occasion, from casual lunches to special celebrations.

All The Details

“As we grow the Del Mar brand into central Ohio, we look forward to welcoming our loyal guests into a serene oasis where they can indulge in delightful dishes and drinks while experiencing the genuine hospitality that CMR is known for,” said Miller.

Once open, the restaurant will serve weekday lunch, weekend brunch, and dinner nightly. Del mar will offer visitors to Easton the chance to experience a little slice of Mediterranean life right here in Columbus.
