Blues and jazz are returning to Gahanna in September.
The 2021 Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival will bring amazing live music to Gahanna September 17-19. Tickets for general admission and reserved tables go on sale on Friday, June 18.
“We made the decision to hold the event in September, as opposed to its traditional third weekend in June, to allow for more time for vaccinations and to ensure safety protocols are in place,” said Lori Kappes, Executive Director for Visit Gahanna. The 2020 Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival was canceled due to COVID-19.
Several changes have been implemented to this year’s event including a modified footprint that will help manage crowd capacity and two live music stages.

“After having to cancel last year’s Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival, we are thrilled to bring this tradition back to Gahanna’s beautiful Creekside District in 2021,” said Kappes.
The date change is for the 2021 festival only. In 2022, it will return to its traditional June date.
Daily admission to the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival is $15 and a weekend pass is $40. Youth admission is $10 and free for children 5 and under. This year’s Festival will also sell reserved tables at the Toyota Direct Blues and Heartland Bank Jazz stages that seat 2-6 people. Festival hours are Friday, Sept. 17, 5-11 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, 2-11 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 19, 12-5 p.m.
