If your idea of a perfect summer day includes bagpipes, Guinness, and people wearing kilts, you’re going to want to clear your calendar for June 14.
Celtic Fest Ohio is making its grand return to Renaissance Park in Waynesville, and it’s packing a full day of Celtic vibes, from traditional tunes to rock-infused anthems, authentic eats, and tons of cultural flair. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., giving you plenty of time to soak it all in.
Here’s what you can expect:
This year’s lineup is stacked with favorites like Albannach, SCYTHIAN, Bastard Bearded Irishmen, and The Drowsy Lads. Whether you’re into haunting pipes or high-energy Celtic rock, there’s a band (or ten) for you.
Food & drink? Yes, please. The festival is serving up traditional Celtic dishes alongside the always-welcome presence of Guinness. You’ll also find vendors pouring everything from mead to craft beer.
Looking for something a little different? Catch a Border Collie herding demo, hang out with majestic Irish Wolfhounds, or stop by a step dancing performance. There’s even a 42nd Royal Highlanders pipe band in full regalia if you’re into that whole “marching across the Highlands” vibe.

With over 50 artisans and vendors, you can snag everything from Celtic knot jewelry and sporrans to swords, kilts, and handmade shillelaghs (because who doesn’t need one of those?).
