A Magical, Musical, And Totally Broadway Season Is Coming To Columbus

Broadway fans, you might want to sit down for this one. The 2025-2026 PNC Broadway in Columbus season is officially here, and it’s serving up a stacked lineup of fresh hits, timeless classics, and the Ohio premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

That’s right, muggles! The wizarding world is coming to Columbus this October. The popular Broadway show is making only one stop in Ohio, and we’ve got it. That’s just the beginning of what might be the most exciting season we’ve seen in years.

Following that, Some Like It Hot, the razzle-dazzle musical comedy Deadline called “everything you love about musical theater,” takes over the stage in November.

Once 2026 kicks off, things really time travel (literally).

Back to the Future: The Musical pulls into town in January, complete with a flying DeLorean and enough ‘80s nostalgia to power the flux capacitor. February brings a breath of fresh Alpine air with The Sound of Music, followed by The Outsiders in March, a Tony Award-winning musical that’s equal parts gritty, poetic, and heart-wrenching.

In April, it’s time to get corny (in the best way possible) with Shucked, the country-pop musical comedy that’s as feel-good as it is funny. And the season closes with a true showstopper: Water for Elephants, a visually stunning adaptation of the bestselling novel that blends theater and circus in the most magical way.

Oh, and that’s just the subscription package.

The season add-ons are equally stacked: the powerhouse pop musical SIX returns in December, Les Misérables makes its triumphant return in early 2026, and Hadestown brings its haunting, mythic magic to Columbus in May.

This season is bold, exciting, and full of opportunities to experience the best of Broadway right here in the 614.

Whether you’re a longtime theater kid or just looking for a reason to dress up and feel fancy for a night, this season is absolutely worth marking on your calendar.
