What do bourbon, barbecue, and live music all have in common?
You’ll soon be able to find them in the heart of the Short North. Taking over the space at 1124 N. High Street from basil, Bristol Republic hopes to bring some Nashville charm to Columbus.
The 5,000 square foot venue will host acts from across the country every weekend, and serve up some local collaborations.
The menu will be provided by Smoked on High and will include brisket, ribs, pork, and tons of fixins. The bar will have over 100 whiskeys and bourbons, including a collaboration with Watershed Distillery called Bristol Bourbon.
Owner Brian Swanson, who we can also thank for Bodega, is hoping to fill a country void in the Short North.
Bristol Republic will open on April 11. For more updates, you can visit their website or follow them on Instagram.
