North Market Bridge Park Just Welcomed A New Coastal Comfort Food Spot

BBQ & The Pier has officially opened inside North Market at Bridge Park, taking over the former COLO Market & Oyster Bar space and continuing the tradition of serving fresh oysters while adding a hearty barbecue twist.

The new concept blends seafood favorites with approachable comfort food, offering a menu packed with fresh oysters, fish & chips, fried shrimp, barbecue staples, and other coastal-inspired dishes. It’s the kind of menu designed for lingering lunches, casual dinners, or grabbing a plate and a drink while exploring the market.

The restaurant is led by hospitality veterans Enis Ndreu and Elvis Lloshi, two familiar names in Columbus’s food scene.

Ndreu is already well known to North Market regulars as the owner of Holy Crepes, which has become a longtime favorite with locations at North Market Downtown, East Market, and a roaming food truck operation. Lloshi brings more than a decade of restaurant experience, including 10 years with Iron Grill, where he helped oversee both kitchen and front-of-house operations.

“BBQ & The Pier represents exactly the kind of entrepreneurial growth story we love to see at North Market,” said Rick Harrison Wolfe, Executive Director and CEO of North Market, in a statement announcing the opening. “Enis has already built a successful business here with Holy Crepes, and now he and Elvis are bringing their combined experience and fresh vision to create something exciting for our merchants and guests while honoring the oyster tradition of this space.”

For Ndreu, the opening marks another milestone in his growing North Market presence.

“North Market has been an incredible home for Holy Crepes, and we’re excited to expand our presence with BBQ & The Pier,” he said. “Elvis and I wanted to create a concept that blends fresh seafood and our high-quality, approachable barbecue with the energy and quality people expect here.”

Located inside Bridge Park, North Market Bridge Park has become one of the region’s go-to food halls since opening in 2020. The market features a rotating mix of local vendors, restaurants, bars, and specialty food merchants, serving everything from ramen and tacos to pastries and coffee.
