Third and Hollywood

The cheddar herb biscuits are the reason most tables here end up ordering a second round. Brunch runs on Ohio organic eggs, and those same biscuits show up under chorizo sausage gravy if you want them as a full plate. Save room for the deep dish French toast, which sells out plenty of mornings.
Address: 1433 W. 3rd Ave., Grandview Heights
Website: Third and Hollywood
HangOverEasy

Did you party a little too hard last night? Don’t worry, HangOverEasy has the cure. For some greasy breakfast foods that will be perfect for when you drink “beer before liquor”, this diner is a must-visit. Both locations open at 7 on weekdays and 8 on weekends.
Address: 51 Parsons Ave, Columbus (Olde Towne East) and 1646 Neil Ave near campus
Website: HangOverEasy
German Village Coffee Shop

German Village Coffee Shop is my go-to breakfast spot. It’s not fancy. It’s a diner and you’ll be enjoying coffee instead of mimosas, but the food is delicious. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take suggestions from the awesome staff or take on the daily special. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with bacon and eggs! They’ve been on Thurman Avenue since 1981, and the doors close at 2 p.m.
Address: 193 Thurman Avenue, Columbus
Website: German Village Coffee Shop
The Mercury Diner

The Mercury Diner is a casual yet cool, space-themed spot to visit for brunch with the crew. Offering everything from boozy milkshakes to traditional breakfast, Mercury is a convenient spot to visit with plenty of parking, located on the edge of German Village. It’s open daily, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Address: 621 Parsons Ave, Columbus

Katalina’s

If the weather is nice, the patio at Katalina’s provides the perfect setting for brunch. Their breakfast tacos are award-winning, but we all know we’re going for the pancake balls. Be sure to get there early because finding a seat can be a bit of a battle. But that just goes to show you how yummy the food is.
Address: 1105 Pennsylvania Ave, Columbus (Harrison West), with sister cafes at 3481 N High St in Clintonville and 2741 E Main St in Bexley
Website: Katalina’s
Jack & Benny’s

Jack & Benny’s is a classic diner. They dapple in all the classics. I think Jack & Benny’s is the perfect place to go if you and your pals are searching for a big ol’ stack of pancakes, a coffee, and a chill atmosphere.
Address: 2563 N High St, Columbus

Drunch

Ready to enjoy locally sourced food and cocktails all day long? Drunch is the best place to go for brunch with the gals, with a fantastic location, a great menu, and of course some delightfully fruity mimosas. Hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day of the week.
Address: 995 N 4th St, Columbus
Website: Drunch Eatery + Bar
First Watch

First Watch is one of the first places to come to mind when I think “brunch with mom.” But honestly, anyone can enjoy it. It’s a go-to breakfast food kind of place and with multiple locations around the city, so odds are there is one reasonably close to you, which is especially awesome if you’re the one in the friend group who’s always late to brunch.
Address: Multiple locations

Fox in the Snow Cafe

Fox in the Snow started as one little cafe in Italian Village and now has seven around Columbus, with German Village, Clintonville and Upper Arlington among them. The egg sandwich and the pastry case are the reason to go. Chic and trendy, the cafe is an adorable place to sit down and grab a quick bite to eat. Doors open at 7 on weekdays and 8 on weekends, and every location closes at 3.
Address: 1031 N Fourth St, Columbus (Italian Village) and 210 Thurman Ave, Columbus (German Village), plus five more cafes in Clintonville, Upper Arlington, Dublin, New Albany and Uptown Westerville

Lindey’s

Feelin’ fancy? Take your friends to Lindey’s for a meal and service that will leave a lasting impression. It’s a high-class, high-quality dining experience, and although it may be a little pricey, you should Treat Yo’ Self. You’re worth it. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Address: 169 E Beck St, Columbus
Website: Lindey’s
Brekkie Shack

Want to fully embrace beach vibes without actually leaving Columbus? Brunch at Brekkie Shack oughta do the trick. The breakfast menu is available all day long, which is great because they have the best french toast I’ve ever had. Weekend hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Address: 1060 Yard St, Columbus
Website: Brekkie Shack
The Woodbury

The Woodbury has been one of my favorite additions to this city for a long time. It’s got a great, downtown diner vibe, plus the service is always fantastic. They’ve got tons of twists on classic diner items. I could talk about The Woodbury all day long, or you could read my review instead. Breakfast and brunch run all day starting at 9 a.m.
Address: 215 E Town St, Columbus
Website: The Woodbury
Biscuit Belly
The Kentucky biscuit chain picked the old Hot Chicken Takeover space on Fifth Avenue for its first Ohio location, and it opened in June 2026. The biscuits are scratch-made and the sandwiches are built around them: the Rockwell is fried chicken and cheddar under sausage gravy, and the Hot Brown is an open-face turkey number with smoked gouda mornay and bacon. Brunch is every day, with weekend hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Address: 1417 W. 5th Ave, Grandview Heights
Website: Biscuit Belly
Wolf’s Ridge Brewing
The downtown brewery’s dining room does a weekend brunch that has outlasted most of the trendier ones. Buttermilk pancakes and corned beef hash anchor the menu, and the steak and eggs comes with a cowboy skirt steak. Their own beer is the obvious pairing. The kitchen serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the bar keeps pouring until 3.
Address: 215 N. 4th St, Columbus
Website: Wolf’s Ridge Brewing
Dough Mama

Dough Mama is a Clintonville bakery-cafe where the pastry case does as much work as the kitchen. The biscuit sandwiches are the order: the McMama with egg, cheddar, bacon and dijonaise, or the ham biscuit if you want something bigger. Breakfast runs all day, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week, so there’s no weekend-only window to plan around.
Address: 3335 N High St, Columbus
Website: Dough Mama
Cap City Fine Diner

Cap City is a nice place to eat without being overly fancy. The food is incredible and the brunch is no exception. Make sure to get reservations because it can get pretty packed. Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at all three locations.
Address: Grandview, Gahanna and Dublin
Website: Cap City Fine Diner
Pink Pistachio Cafe

The newest name on this list, and the dreamiest. Pink Pistachio does all-day brunch in a pale pink and pistachio green room in Grandview, with knafeh crepes, Nutella French toast, and heartier plates like lamb chops and salmon. The whole menu is halal and alcohol-free. It filled up fast after opening in April 2026, so put your name on the online waitlist before you head over.
Address: 1072 Dublin Rd, Columbus
Website: Pink Pistachio Cafe
Gemüt Biergarten
Gemüt Biergarten is a pretty ideal brunch spot when you want your weekend meal to come with a beer garden. The Olde Towne East biergarten serves up German-inspired brunch favorites like chicken and waffles, corned beef hash and prosciutto toast, plus the very appropriately named Bloody Frau. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Address: 734 Oak St, Columbus
Website: Gemüt Biergarten
Two Dollar Radio Headquarters
Two Dollar Radio Headquarters is the brunch spot for anyone who wants a bookstore with their breakfast, and it happens to be entirely vegan. The South Side shop serves pancake tacos, corn tortillas toasted in french toast batter and topped with scramble, hollandaise and avocado, alongside french toast, breakfast empanadas and a “sausage, egg and cheeze” tortuga built on walnut sausage and cashew crema. The meat substitutes and nut cheeses are made in house in small batches, and there is no deep fryer. Food runs Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., so the kitchen starts an hour after the doors open, and the shop is closed Monday and Tuesday.
Address: 1124 Parsons Ave, Columbus
