COSI After Dark: The Art of Body Modification

Hell City and RedTree Tattoo Gallery are bringing tattoo artists and body mod experts from all over Columbus to talk about the science, history, and future of this long-standing art form. There will be 6 local bands, craft cocktails, historic & modern tattooing machines, personal tattoo collections, flash & temporary tattoos, henna, tattoo models, and more.

Nate Bargatze: The Be Funny Tour

January 11-12, 2024
Hailed this year as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” by The Atlantic Magazine, 2021 Grammy nominated comedian and podcaster Nate Bargatze is selling out shows across the world. With two days of shows here at Nationwide Arena, Bargatze is sure to keep Columbus laughing all weekend long.

Symphonic Genesis and Phil Collins

January 13, 2024 at 8 p.m.
Phil Collins’ one-of-a-kind drum work and songwriting have left an enduring mark on music. With the megaband Genesis, and his numerous solo hits Phil Collins – along with bandmates Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford – penned unforgettable hits featured in this symphonic tribute by the Columbus Symphony. Show highlights include “Follow You Follow Me,” “Abacab,” “I Missed Again,” “Turn It On Again,” “Sussudio,” “One More Night,” “Take Me Home,” “Two Hearts,” and the iconic “In the Air Tonight.”

US Figure Skating Championships

January 22-28, 2023
Fans will witness history as U.S. champions are crowned in women’s, men’s, pairs and ice dance disciplines at the senior and junior levels of the U.S. Figure Skating competitive structure. The seven-day event will serve as the final qualifying event to make the U.S. World and World Junior teams and attracts more than 400 athletes, coaches, officials, media and thousands of spectators.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 In Concert

January 26-27, 2024
Join the Columbus Symphony to experience the first part of the conclusion of the Harry Potter series. The full film is set to a live performance of the score by Academy Award-winning film composer Alexandre Desplat.

Wild Ohio Day

January 27, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Buckeyes, snakes, and spotted salamanders- Oh My! Join the Ohio History Center to learn about the wild plants and animals that call Ohio home. There will be activities throughout the day, including beekeeping for kiddos, the Ohio School of Falconry, COSI’s Wild Experience, and more.

Wonderball 2024

January 24, 2024 from 8 p.m. to Midnight
It’s time to celebrate the 10th annual Wonderball, a decade of championing creativity and wonder in Columbus. This year, attendees are invited to wear their most imaginative black and white outfit along with a touch of metallic splendor, whether it’s silver, gold, sparkles, or any other shimmering choice! Experiences planned for 2024 will showcase a selection of creative experiences through the years ranging from dance, performance art, participatory experiences, and fashion to local music standouts.

  • Details: For the 31st year, Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Main branch hosts a holiday train display featuring a miniature locomotive weaving through tunnels, bridges, and artificial snow. Available during library operating hours. 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus.
  • Easton Holiday Lights
    Until January 7, 2024

  • Details: Easton Town Center is illuminated with over 2 million lights, creating a festive atmosphere. Carriage rides are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Dec. 23 ($10, free for ages 15 and younger with a paying adult). Easton, 160 Easton Town Center, Columbus.
