Columbus’ First Rage Room Is Open And We’re Ready To Smash

If you’ve ever felt the urge to hurl your phone at the wall after a frustrating day, you’re in luck. Columbus finally has its very first rage room, and it’s the perfect spot to let off some steam.

Introducing The Wrecking Company, a brand-new business open at 234 S. 4th St. It’s a place where you can smash, break, and obliterate objects in a controlled, safe environment. Think of it as therapy, but instead of talking, you’re shattering wine bottles and demolishing old printers. Sounds fun, right?

The concept is pretty simple: you pick your tunes, gear up in safety equipment, and then head into one of the three rage rooms to smash away. The options are endless—keyboards, old cellphones, bottles, and for those who want to go big, even flat-screen TVs are on the menu. And yes, there’s something undeniably satisfying about taking a baseball bat to a printer.

Now, you might be wondering, “How much does it cost to live out my Office Space fantasies?”

Prices at The Wrecking Company start at around $22 for a solo session, which is perfect if you just want to get in, smash some stuff, and leave feeling like a new person. If you’re planning a group outing, it’s $35 per person, and there are plenty of add-ons if you want to get creative with your destruction.

If you’re under 18, don’t worry—you can still join in on the fun with a guardian’s permission. But if you’re 18 or older, all you need to do is sign a waiver and you’re good to go.

The Wrecking Company is open on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Whether you’re looking to de-stress after a long week or just want to have a smashing good time with friends, The Wrecking Company is about to become your new favorite spot in Columbus.
