Otherworld Will Finally Be Open In April And It Looks Epic

The coolest new place in Columbus will officially open this April.

That’s right, people! Otherworld, a 32,000 square foot immersive art installation, will open its doors on April 12. As you explore Otherworld, you’ll move through 50+ scenes that include interactive art, puzzles, secret passageways, and mixed reality playgrounds.

Presale tickets are already on sale and cost $16 per person. Otherworld is family-friendly and kids 3 and under are free, but children under 16 have to be accompanied by an adult.

We had the opportunity to explore Otherworld during the building process and let me just say, it looks pretty freaking awesome. Photos don’t do justice to the scale of the art pieces at the installation. 32,000 square feet is a lot of space to fill up and Otherworld has managed to do it in some of the most creative ways possible.

The installation is a collaboration of dozens of artists. When the geniuses behind Otherworld got started, the space was a massive, abandoned box store. Now, it has been transformed into a colorful, vibrant expression of artistry that Columbus has never seen the likes of.
