Last updated July 9, 2026. Route data comes from the Columbus Regional Airport Authority’s official nonstop chart, cross-checked against airline announcements. When a new route gets announced, it shows up here.
In this guide
Columbus air service is on a run right now. There were a dozen new flight announcements between January and June of 2026. JetBlue is coming back in November. And Columbus finally has nonstops to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic on the books, both starting in early 2027.
That pace is great news if you fly out of here. It also means most lists of Columbus nonstops go stale within a few months. So this page is the running answer to one question: where can you fly nonstop from Columbus? Every destination, every airline, both airports, with the seasonal routes labeled seasonal so you don’t plan a February beach trip around a flight that only runs in summer.
The short version
As of July 2026, you can fly nonstop from Columbus to 57 airports on 10 airlines. Most routes fly out of John Glenn Columbus International (CMH). Allegiant runs nine leisure routes out of Rickenbacker (LCK) on the far south side. Two more destinations are announced but not flying yet, Punta Cana and San Juan, and JetBlue arrives in November 2026 as airline number 11.

Here’s the full list, alphabetical, with every airline that flies each route. CMH is John Glenn, LCK is Rickenbacker. Where one airline on a route is seasonal and another flies year-round, the seasonal one is tagged.

A note on that seasonal column. Seasonal means the airline only flies the route part of the year, and the exact dates shift from season to season. If a seasonal flight is outside the airline’s current booking window, it won’t show up in flight search at all, but the route still exists. It just isn’t on sale yet.
Announced but not flying yet
This is where new routes wait between the press release and the first departure. Three are on the board right now.
Fort Lauderdale on JetBlue. First flight November 3, 2026. Fort Lauderdale already has nonstop service from Columbus on Southwest, Allegiant, and Frontier, but this one matters because it puts JetBlue back at CMH after years away. We covered JetBlue’s return to Columbus when it was announced in May.
Punta Cana on Breeze. First flight January 8, 2027, running Mondays and Fridays through March 22. It’s a seasonal winter route to the Dominican Republic, timed for exactly the months when Ohio is at its grayest. Here’s our coverage of the Punta Cana announcement.
San Juan on Southwest. First flight February 13, 2027, running Saturdays. It’s seasonal, and Puerto Rico is a US territory, so no passport needed. San Juan spent years near the top of the most-requested list at CMH, and we wrote about the San Juan announcement the week it dropped.
When these launch, they move up into the big table.
The beach math
Fourteen of the 57 airports on this list are in Florida. Fourteen. Destin, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Key West, Miami, both Orlando airports, Palm Beach, Panama City Beach, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Tampa, and St. Pete-Clearwater. If you have a specific stretch of Florida sand in mind, there’s almost certainly a nonstop that lands within an hour of it.
Beyond Florida, Myrtle Beach flies seasonally from both Columbus airports, and Cancun runs seasonally on American and Southwest. For now, Cancun is the only beach on this list you need a passport for. Punta Cana joins it in January 2027, and San Juan (no passport, see above) starts that February.
Flying out of Rickenbacker instead of John Glenn
Nine routes on this list leave from Rickenbacker, not John Glenn, and all nine are Allegiant: Destin, Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Myrtle Beach, Orlando/Sanford, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Savannah, and St. Pete-Clearwater. Rickenbacker is a separate airport near Lockbourne on the far south side, past Obetz. It’s mostly a cargo operation with one small passenger terminal, which means short lines and not much else once you’re through them. If you booked Allegiant, double-check which airport is on your confirmation before you drive.
Frequently asked questions
What airlines fly out of Columbus?
Ten right now: American, Delta, Southwest, United, Alaska, Air Canada, Breeze, Frontier, Sun Country, and Allegiant, with Allegiant flying only from Rickenbacker. JetBlue becomes the eleventh in November 2026. Southwest is the largest carrier at John Glenn.
How many nonstop destinations does Columbus have?
57 airports as of July 2026, counting both John Glenn and Rickenbacker. Two more, Punta Cana and San Juan, are announced for early 2027. The airport authority rounds it to “55+” in its marketing, and the number has been climbing all year.
Why can’t I find a seasonal flight on the airline’s website?
Airlines only sell tickets inside their booking window, which usually extends six to nine months out. A seasonal route that isn’t flying and isn’t bookable yet simply won’t appear in search results, even though it’s coming back. Check again closer to the season, or look up the route on the airline’s site directly.
Does Columbus have nonstop flights to Europe?
Not yet. The longest nonstops from Columbus are the West Coast routes, and the only destinations outside the US are Toronto, Montreal, and Cancun, with Punta Cana joining in 2027. A transatlantic route has been on the local wish list for years. If one ever gets announced, it’ll be on this page the same week.
Booking and updates
Airline schedules move constantly, so confirm dates with the airline or use CRAA’s Destinations from Columbus tool for live schedules. And if you’re flying out of John Glenn at a peak time, check the CMH security wait times before you leave the house.
We’ll keep this list current as routes come and go. Twelve announcements in six months says it won’t stay quiet for long. And once you know where you can fly, our guide to finding cheap flights from Columbus covers how to pay less to get there.
