The Gorgeous New Riverside Crossing Park Is Open In Dublin

The gorgeous new park in Dublin’s Bridge Street District is open.

Riverside Crossing Park will serve as a public space where residents can gather for events and enjoy the beauty of the riverfront area in Dublin.

The lower plaza, shared-use paths, and waterfall feature in the park officially opened to the public on October 22, along with the pedestrian tunnel that allows visitors to cross safely underneath of Riverside Drive.

“Envisioned as one of Dublin’s most important civic and natural spaces, the Park encompasses both sides of the Scioto River to further enhance and connect Historic Dublin and Bridge Park,” said Parks & Recreation Director Matt Earman in a press release.

Throughout the lower plaza, visitors will find benches as well as tables and chairs. There is a boulder play area and a large green space with views of the Scioto and Dublin rivers. The real show stopper at the park has to be the waterfall.

Riverside Crossing Park is a great connector point for those looking to utilize bicycle/pedestrian paths and canoe/kayak access points. The west side of the park is a more natural area with water access, trail systems, and connections to the Indian Run greenway. The east side, including the lower plaza, will host public gatherings and events, recreational programs, scenic river views, and more.
