Ready for a little holiday winter fun?
The City of Dublin is bringing a new, temporary ice rink to Riverside Crossing Park this winter. The rink is located at 6635 Riverside Dr. in the lower plaza of the park on the east side of the new pedestrian bridge.
The rink clocks in at 3,200 square feet and will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays throughout the season, but there will be special holiday hours.
The ice rink will remain open through mid-March 2022.
“It wouldn’t be winter without taking a spin on the ice,” Director of Parks & Recreation Matt Earman says. “The new rink adds a touch of festive fun to the Downtown Dublin area under the perfect backdrop of The Dublin Link.”
Admission is $10 per person and includes complimentary skate rental. Skaters are welcome to bring their own skates, but the admission rate remains the same.
The rink can operate in temperatures of up to 60 degrees and will be resurfaced daily using a Zamboni. If conditions are unsafe, like excessive rain, extremely warm temps, or poor driving conditions, the rink will close. But guests can plan the trip in advance easily by visiting the City’s website.
