A bartender at one of Columbus’ most recognizable rooftop bars just earned national recognition for his work behind the bar.
Rodrigo Serrano of Stories on High has been named one of the 2026 World Class U.S. Top 100 Bartenders by the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, placing him among a select group of bartenders recognized for excellence in cocktail innovation, creativity, and hospitality.
Serrano is one of only four bartenders in Ohio to make this year’s Top 100 list.
“I’m incredibly honored to be included among this group,” Serrano said in a statement. “The team at Stories on High pushes creativity and hospitality every day and I’m grateful to be part of a crew that challenges me to grow.”
Located atop Hilton Columbus Downtown, Stories on High has become known for its skyline views, inventive cocktails, and Asian-inspired menu since opening in the Short North.
Serrano has been part of the team helping shape the bar’s growing reputation both locally and nationally.
“We couldn’t be happier that Rodrigo received this national recognition,” said Rustun Nichols, beverage director at Hilton Columbus Downtown. “His hard work ethic and commitment to hospitality sets him apart and he continues to be a big part of what makes Stories on High a premier destination in Columbus.”

The annual World Class U.S. Top 100 list highlights bartenders across the country who are helping influence and advance cocktail culture through technique, presentation, and innovation behind the bar.
Stories on High is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. The rooftop lounge also offers Happy Hour Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
