A Dinosaur Safari Is Coming To Columbus Next Week

Tis the season for dinosaur adventures here in Columbus.

Last week, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium announced their fun dino takeover, and now it’s the Ohio History Connection’s turn to get in on the fun. Visitors who are looking for a fun family adventure can head to the Ohio History Center May 21-31 to get up close and personal with some of the most fascinating prehistoric creatures.

The life size dinosaurs on display will come from all around the prehistoric world, from the T rex of North America to the Spinosaurus of Africa. During this drive-thru exhibition, you can all learn about these extinct creatures by following along with an audio tour on your smartphone.

Tickets are sold on a per-car basis and include entrance to the drive thru park, a “Park Passport” scavenger hunt, and other fun surprises. Tickets are $49.95 per car (up to 7 occupants) or $59.95 for large capacity vehicles.

The exhibit will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting May 21. There will be special hours on Memorial Day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
