Between the food and the ambiance, a bed and breakfast can be the best way to kick back and recover from the workweek. But sadly, we don’t all have tons of vacation days laying around.

Run by the Gahanna Historical Society, this B&B is within walking distance of downtown Olde Gahanna. It’s a short drive from the airport so it makes a cozy place for out-of-towners to hunker down for a night or two.
The Historical Buxton Inn | Granville
Distance from Downtown Columbus: 35 miles
Ohio’s longest operating inn and tavern, the Buxton Inn opened in 1812. When you stay at the Buxton Inn, you’re staying in a bit of history. Famous former patrons include President William H. Harrison, who was the first of three presidents to stay at the inn.
50 Lincoln Short North Bed and Breakfast | Short North
Distance from Downtown Columbus: 1.5 miles

Granville Inn | Granville

The Granville Inn looks like something out of a movie. A very castle-like B&B, the Granville Inn is a remarkable place to stay or host an event. This bed and breakfast is on the larger side and offers 36 guest rooms and 3 suites for visitors to enjoy. The inn is located in Granville near all the shops and places to eat that you could ever need.
Emma’s Bed & Breakfast | Springfield
Distance from Downtown Columbus: 41 miles
This old farmhouse was originally built in 1833, and is a less than 40-minute drive from Columbus. Check into the B&B and take a walk on the walking trails around the house, visit the salon and spa, or head out for a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wescott House.
Winter St. Inn | Delaware

Today, it offers all the modern amenities that you could hope for and each room is unique. On the last Friday of the month (Jan-Nov), the Castle Inn B&B offers “Central Ohio’s Best Murder Mystery.”
Bexley Bed and Breakfast | Bexley
Distance from Downtown Columbus: 4 miles
A short walk to Main Street in downtown Bexley, the Bexley B&B has a sweet location. It is a wonderful place for the family of Capital University to stay when they come to visit. You can practically see the Drexel Theatre and Graeter’s Ice Cream from the front porch. What’s not to like?
