After nearly two decades, JetBlue is officially making its return to Columbus.
The airline announced it will launch nonstop service between John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport beginning November 3, 2026. The new route will give Columbus travelers a direct line to South Florida, while also opening the door to a wide range of international connections.
Through Fort Lauderdale, passengers will be able to easily reach popular destinations across the Caribbean and Latin America, including places like Cancun, San Juan, Nassau, and even cities in South America like Cali and Cartagena.
“JetBlue’s return to Columbus this November with nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale ensures seamless access to a critical gateway for international travel,” said Columbus Regional Airport Authority President and CEO Daren Griffin. “We look forward to seeing JetBlue back at CMH as we continue to grow our flight offerings to meet the demand of our travelers.”
The move also marks JetBlue’s first time operating out of Columbus since 2008.
According to the airline, the route is designed to offer both affordable fares and more convenient travel options for Central Ohio residents, especially those heading to Florida or connecting beyond.
