This Ohio Zip Line Adventure Has Seriously Gorgeous Lake Erie Views

Ready to get back outside?

Lake Erie Canopy Tours is kicking off its 2026 season on May 1, bringing back zip lines, adventure courses and a full lineup of outdoor activities along the shores of Lake Erie.

Located near Geneva State Park, the popular attraction offers everything from high-flying zip line tours to more relaxed ways to explore the area.

Starting May 1, visitors can take advantage of daily golf cart, e-bike and e-scooter rentals, along with half-zip line tours and the main adventure course running Thursday through Monday. The kids’ adventure course opens for the season on weekends beginning May 2.

By May 29, the full experience will be up and running, including full zip line tours, combo packages, and kayak rentals. Nighttime zip line tours will also return on Saturdays starting May 30 and continue through the end of October.

There are several ways to experience the canopy tours, depending on how much time and adrenaline you’re looking for.

The full zip line tour runs about two hours and includes eight zip lines, sky bridges and treetop platforms reaching up to 60 feet high. A shorter half-zip option focuses on the final stretch of the course along the lake.

For a quicker experience, the double-zip tour offers a 30-minute ride with scenic views and one of the longest lines on the course.

If you’d rather stay on your feet, the adventure course includes more than 30 climbing and rope elements ranging from beginner to advanced, along with an optional freefall rappel.

Younger visitors can take part in the Landlubber’s Adventure Course, which features scaled-down obstacles and a short zip line designed for kids ages 4 to 10.

Beyond the ropes course, there are plenty of ways to spend time around Geneva-on-the-Lake.

Kayak rentals offer a quieter way to explore the water, with routes along Cowles Creek and views of the surrounding park. Golf cart rentals are also available for cruising The Strip and nearby attractions.

E-bikes and e-scooters round out the options, offering an easy way to cover more ground without much effort.
