Columbus’ Most Heartwarming Bake Sale Is Back This November

If you’re looking for a sweet way to kick off the holiday season, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio has you covered.

The nonprofit’s 41st Annual Bake Sale is happening Thursday, November 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House (711 E. Livingston Ave.), and it’s shaping up to be a feel-good community tradition worth marking on your calendar.

This isn’t your average neighborhood bake sale. The event features thousands of homemade treats, including cookies, pies, breads, and the now-famous pumpkin rolls that sell out every year. The rolls, baked by students from Columbus Culinary School and members of the Amish community, are so popular that shoppers can even preorder them.

More Than Just Baked Goods

Beyond baked goods, visitors can shop from local vendors like Rachel’s Soaps and Jewelry by Catherina, making it an easy one-stop shop for holiday gifts. And yes, you’ll want to come hungry—Columbus firefighters will be serving their firehouse chili, and Coffee Connections will be on hand with cozy seasonal drinks.

“This is our longest standing fundraiser, and there’s a good reason we still run it,” said Dee Anders, CEO of RMHC of Central Ohio. “The Bake Sale is an easy way to get your holiday shopping in while treating yourself as well. It’s a fun event, full of holiday festivities.”

Whether you’re stocking up on sweets, grabbing a cup of coffee, or just soaking up the cheerful chaos, the bake sale is a reminder of how good it feels when the community comes together. And the best part? Every purchase helps support families with children receiving medical care in Columbus.
