Journey Around The World At Franklin Park Conservatory’s Topiary Takeover

Ready to take a journey around the world?

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is hosting an epic Topiary Collection that will take visitors all across the globe. Twenty-five topiaries made out of living plants are taking over the gardens at the Conservatory over the next few months.

The animal-themed topiaries are filled with plants that mimic fur, skin, scales, and feathers. From sea creatures of the Great Barrier Reef to a majestic bison of the plains, UNESCO Natural Heritage Sites inspired the topiaries and the plants around them.

The entire project was imagined, designed, constructed, and grown by Conservatory Horticulture & Exhibitions staff.
