Fireproof Is The Coolest New Restaurant In Columbus

Looking for tapas, cocktails, and a chic vibe? Look no further.

Fireproof has only been open for a few weeks, but they’re already making a big name for themselves around the city. The restaurant is all about the social experience. From the tapas to the seating, it’s designed to make you feel welcome and to encourage interaction between patrons.

The design is incredibly sleek, and even though it’s full of modern decor, you can still feel the history of the iconic building. Built in the early 1900s, Fireproof was a storage and delivery facility for expensive and irreplaceable goods of the people of Columbus. With its thick walls meant to keep items safe, the name Fireproof wasn’t just a figurative name.

Most recently, it served as the site of Pies & Pints, which closed it 2018. The new restaurant was announced back in April and Fireproof officially opened in early August. If this peek at the restaurant isn’t enough to satisfy your curiosity, I highly suggest you stop in for a drink!

Fireproof is located at 1026 N. High St. in the Short North. They’re open Sunday & Monday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday & Saturday from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
