El Segundo

Dropping terms like “the best happy hour in the Short North” can be controversial, but I’m going to say it anyway. El Segundo has some delicious Mexican food on the menu and the Happy Hour deals make you feel like you’re pulling one over on Cameron Mitchell himself. Please get a house margarita and the flatbread of your choice. Honestly, get that whether you go at happy hour or not. You won’t regret it.

While an ice cream shop may not technically qualify as a restaurant, I’d be remiss not to include CRMD. This shop serves creative ice cream flavors inside of a puffle. So what exactly is a puffle? Well it’s an egg waffle that’s popular in Hong Kong and Macau and it’s the perfect, doughy compliment to CRMD’s ice cream. Stop in for a scoop or two any night of the week, with late night hours extending on the weekends.
