This Adorable Alpaca Farm Two Hours Outside Columbus Will Make You Feel All Warm And Fuzzy

Cuteness alert: This post will have several photos of adorable animals. Get your hearts ready, people.

Alpacas are fluffy, herd animals who relish human attention. Which makes them the perfect animals for the experience you’re about to have. Our Little World Alpaca Farm is one of many alpaca farms in Ohio. But their Alpaca Experience is one-of-a-kind.

The visit lasts for 1-1.5 hours, and all of that time will be spent in the company of these delightful little creatures. When you get there you can take photos and videos with the alpacas, meet the herd, learn about their history, and learn how they’re taken care of on the farm.

The farm is home to over 50 alpacas. Alpacas are known for their super soft, hypoallergenic fleece. The herd gets sheared once a year, and their fleece is used for loads of things, from soft clothing to shoe liners that keep your toes warm in the winter to stuffing for fire-retardant pot-holders. Seriously, they’re amazingly versatile, and they are sweet as all get out.

The cost of the private Alpaca Experience is $3/person with a $15 minimum. If you’re going on the tour, remember that you must wear closed-toe shoes. Tours are available on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., except the second Saturday of the month.

The farm will also be open to the public for National Alpaca Farm Day, on September 25-26, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are located at 16800 Cowley Rd, Grafton, Ohio 44044. For more information, you can visit their website here.

It’s time to start planning your trip. I know you want to pet these little sweethearts.
