7 Seductive Seafood Dishes That’ll Send Your Taste Buds Overboard

Warning, the following may induce insatiable cravings for seafood that can only be cured by completely devouring said seafood.

Columbus, I am not a cruel man. I may taunt you with delicious looking foods and awe-inspiring meals, but it’s only because I want you to up your food game. I believe in you, and I want you to be the best food obsessed adult-child that you can be.

Now, with that said, what’s about to happen next is straight up torturous and I am oh so sorry. I’m talking mouth-watering, stomach growling, getting h’angry at your cat for meowing too loud, food torment. I’ve rounded up seven seafood dishes from seven different restaurants around the city that every fish lover should try once. So release the Kraken Columbus and let’s get- …wow, I almost walked straight into that pun, didn’t I? (crackin’, hah, god I’m good).

Bonefish Grill– Bang Bang Shrimp

Bang bang

Despite almost sharing the name of a truly terrible television laugh-track, this popular Bonefish dish is actually pretty fantastic.

Mitchell’s Ocean Club– Teriyaki Salmon

All of these flavors swim together perfectly like some sort of synchronized swimming routine straight out of Million Dollar Mermaid. (Sigh) I miss Esther Williams movies.

The Pearl– Oysters

Food will never be the same ? Shoutout to Pops for the pic but more importantly the sensational mouth orgasms…

So popular are these little guys, they occupy a whole section on their menu. And yes, the relation between the restaurant’s name and their infamous oysters have just dawned on me.

Kooma Sushi– Seafood Combo

via koomacolumbus.com

Of course, I had to add at least on sushi place to the list. Kooma’s sushi is great too but their seafood plate is shark week material- straight killer. See what I did there? I just- you know what, you’ll get it.

The Black Point– Tristan Cold Water Lobster Tail

Hello, Indian Summer! Our patio is open for dining tonight! Enjoy a Triston Island Cold Water Lobster Tail & a glass of wine!

If this one doesn’t get you going “humina, humina, humina”, check your pulse. You’re either dead inside or you’re reading “humina” wrong. You know what I mean, it’s the onomatopeia expression for “hellooooo nurse!”

Windward Passage– Softshell Crab

via Yelp

Right about now I bet you’re ready to tap out, that you’ve had just about enough and you wanna scream uncle. Welp, too bad. Here’s some deep-fried crab for you because I literally know no mercy. Boom.

Alegria’s Seafood– Tour of Nayarit Seafood Platter

Sure, it may look like someone harpooned a Gyrados and served it on a plate, but trust me, this is the good stuff and you’re going to want some.
