Columbus knows how to make good food, and we’re not the only ones who think so.
Columbus-born Food Network star Guy Fieri has eaten his way through our fair city several times. His show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (DDD), features different local restaurants that are cooking up specialty dishes in cities across the country.
Fieri first appeared on our television screens back in 2006 when he was a contestant on The Next Food Network Star. He may have come in second, but I think we can all agree that he certainly became a star.
There’s a baker’s dozen of restaurants here in Columbus that have hosted Fieri over the years, and we’ve rounded them all up here so that you can head out on your own Triple D adventure!

Joya’s Cafe

Chef Avishar Barua serves up Bengali-American fare at Joya’s Cafe with a twist. From kati rolls to fried rice loaded with chicken, bacon, and egg, Guy Fieri couldn’t resist diving into the bold flavors.
High Bank Distillery

With a lively bar and restaurant vibe, High Bank Distillery impressed Guy with their barbacoa nachos and spicy chicken and biscuits. Pair them with something off the spirits list. They distill it all in-house. High Bank clearly left an impression: in January 2026, Tasting Table named it one of the 10 Midwest restaurants Guy loves most.
Tommy’s Diner

A Columbus staple, Tommy’s Diner serves up Greek classics like pastitsio (think Greek lasagna) and a modern baklava cheesecake that Fieri couldn’t get enough of.
King Gyros Greek Restaurant

At King Gyros, Fieri savored their char-grilled lamb chops and grape leaves stuffed with seasoned rice and meat. If you’re craving Greek, this Whitehall spot is a must-visit.
Katalina’s

Best known for their indulgent pancake balls stuffed with dulce de leche, Katalina’s also brought the heat with their spicy fried chicken sandwich. Guy was hooked from the first bite.

Known for its Chicago and Greek fusion, Loops is the go-to spot for gyros, Italian beef sandwiches, and hot dogs. Guy gave their unique twist on these classics the stamp of approval.
Pierogi Mountain

If you haven’t experienced the joy of a pierogi, Pierogi Mountain is about to change your life. This no-frills comfort food hotspot specializes in Polish-inspired pierogi stuffed with potato and cheese (and a lot more), plus other hearty Eastern European fare.
Cafe Bourbon Street

Guy’s Old North stop was a two-for-one: Cafe Bourbon Street is the campus-area dive where Pierogi Mountain got its start, serving pierogis over the bar to the late-night crowd. The mountain has since moved downtown, but Cafe Bo is still going strong with cheap drinks and live music most nights of the week.
Ena’s Caribbean Kitchen

Ena’s is a family operation serving Jamaican classics, and Fieri was all about the jerk chicken.
Ray Ray’s Hog Pit

If you’re on the hunt for the best BBQ in town, Ray Ray’s is the place. Known for their smoky ribs and Mangalitsa brat burgers, Ray Ray’s even landed a spot on Fieri’s “Best BBQ” list. Guy filmed at the original Clintonville pit behind Ace of Cups, which is still smoking at 2619 N High St.
Momo Ghar

This cozy spot in the North Market offers some of the most unique and flavorful dishes in the city, serving up Nepali and Tibetan delights like their famous jhol momo dumplings. Get there before the lunch line does.
Sweet Carrot

Comfort food lovers, meet your new best friend. Sweet Carrot’s brisket-topped corn cakes and Ohio chicken meatball sandwich had Guy swooning. While their restaurant has closed, they’re still serving up deliciousness through their catering service.
Wario’s Beef and Pork

Guy hit this Arena District sandwich counter during the show’s 2024 return to Columbus, going in on the ribeye cheesesteak and the rosemary-fennel roasted pork.

Yes, he was born here in 1968. His family moved to California when he was young, so he grew up out west, but Columbus is his birthplace and he keeps coming back to film.

Thirteen. Guy filmed at seven spots across 2017 and 2018, then returned in 2024 for six more. Every one of them was still open when we checked in July 2026, though Sweet Carrot is now a catering service rather than a restaurant.
Does Guy Fieri have his own restaurant in Columbus?
He does. Guy Fieri’s Trattoria is open at Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs on the south side, serving Italian alongside the casino floor.
