Columbus’ biggest summer celebration of art, music, and food is already gearing up for 2026.
The Columbus Arts Festival, produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) and presented by the American Electric Power Foundation, will return to the downtown riverfront June 12–14, 2026. Applications for artists, performers, and food vendors are open now.
Visual artists can apply in 16 categories, ranging from painting and ceramics to jewelry and sculpture. For those just starting out, the Emerging Festival Artist Program helps Central Ohio artists with little or no experience showcase their work. GCAC will also host three free information sessions this fall to guide interested applicants.

Performing artists, including musicians, dancers, theater groups, poets, and storytellers, can also apply. Deadlines range from January to February 2026, while food truck and cart applications are due Feb. 16.
Ranked among the top 10 fine art and design festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine, the Columbus Arts Festival draws hundreds of juried artists from across the U.S., plus live performances, family activities, and plenty of local food and drinks.
